University Orientation

Welcome to the big family of HKUST!

The Dean of Students' Office coordinates a wide range of activities for you to explore HKUST more in our University Orientation scheduled from Aug 26-28. It includes Schools' Orientation Session, Getting Started and HLTH1010 introduction session, performances and workshops. Check out the activity schedule below and make online registration

Getting Started & Introduction to HLTH1010 (Mandatory)

The "Getting Started@HKUST" and the HLTH1010 Course Introduction is a 3-hour required activity of the HLTH1010 Course.

HKUST is full of opportunities and possibilities - the secret of getting ahead is getting started! In the session, students will learn about the Healthy Lifestyle Course (HLTH1010) requirements and the wide range of resources to support students in leading a healthy and happy life on campus. You will also learn about the part you can play so that all of us will live and learn harmoniously in a diverse and dynamic environment. In addition, you will find out what you need to know to tailor a path for your first year success through hearing stories from senior students about how they made the most of their university experience.

All new students should attend ONE of the 6 sessions held on Aug 26 and 27 so as to fulfill the requirement of a 3 course-hours attendance in the "Orientation" module of the HLTH1010 Course.
